SUBSTRATE
- Floor & Wall
- Interior & Exterior
- Living room / Bedroom
LIMIT OF USE
- Not suitable to use in humid area when grout is required to be anti-fungus e.g. bathroom and kitchen (instead weber.color power should be used).
- Not suitable when the joint width bigger than 6 mm e.g. when grouting glass block or clay tile (instead weber.color plus should be used).
- Not suitable to use when the substrate movement is expected; exterior wall, parking area, wooden surface for instance (instead weber.color outside should be used).
- Not suitable to use in swimming pool (instead weber.color HR or weber.color poxy should be used).
- Not suitable if grout is required to be chemical-resistant and acid-resistant; industry, hospital, food-storage area, for instance (instead weber.color poxy should be used).
COMPOSITION
- Principal components: White cement, special aggregate, special additives, organic and inorganic pigment.
PERFORMANCE
- Density of dry mortar: 0.9 - 1.1
- Compressive strength: 28 N/mm2 (MPa)
- Note: These test results are from laboratory test. They might be slightly different from on-site results because of the differences in applications and conditions.
APPLICATION PROPERTY
- Pot life: 30 minutes
- Setting time: 12 hours
- Waiting time before traffic: 24 hours
- Recommended joint width: 1 to 6 mm
- Application temperature: + 5°C to + 35°C
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

- The joints should be clean and dry before grouting.
- Clean and remove any particles or contaminations remaining in the joints in order to ensure a good grout adhesion and the color uniformity.
GROUT PREPARATION
- Put clean water in a bucket (the water should be at room temperature, not warm or hot).
- Gradually add weber.color classic in the water and mix at the same time until homogeneous lump-free paste is obtained. The mixing proportion is;
- 1:3 by weight (water : grout)
- 1:2.5 by volume (water : grout)
- After proper mix, leave the product for 3 - 4 minutes before using in order to have the complete chemical reaction.
- The mixture of weber.color classic should be used within 30 minutes and kept away from heat & sunlight.
APPLICATION

- For wall: Use weber rubber trowel or an appropriate tool to diagonally fill tile joints.
- For floor: Apply the mixed grout onto the area of 1 m2, and then use the rubber trowel to diagonally fill the joints.
- Wipe off the excess grouts with damp sponge before the grout sets.
- Clean tile surfaces with clean cloth after 2 hours.
- Wait for 24 hours before traffic to ensure the good bonding of grout.
RECOMMENDATION FOR GROUTING
- Avoid using the grout on red-hot substrates or the substrates exposing to direct sunlight.
- To protect water leakage into underneath tiles and to avoid tile movement when there is foot traffic, the joint width should be at least 1.5 mm for wall and at least 3 mm for floor.
- In case of clay tiles or porous tiles, weber.klin tec should be used before grouting to protect tile surfaces from grout-color stains.
- If grout is required to be more durable, weber.klin JCR is recommended to use to protect grout joints from fungus, dirt, soap stains, or cooking-oil stains.
SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE
- One year after manufacturing date when stored unopened in dry and ventilated place (store airtight in dry and ventilated conditions, if remained in opened bag)
