SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
- Floor & Wall
- Interior & Exterior
- Swimming pool / Spa / Sauna / Steam room
LIMIT OF USE
- Not suitable for use with the substrates subjected to movement e.g. exterior wall, parking area, wood (instead weber.color outside should be used).
- Not suitable to use in the areas where using high-acidity (pH < 3) cleaning agents (instead weber.color poxy should be used).
- Not suitable if grout is required to be chemical- and acid-resistant; industries, hospitals, food-storage areas, for instance (instead weber.color poxy should be used).
COMPOSITION
- Principal components: special cement, silica sand, polymer, water-repellent (hydrophobic), special admixture, and special additive
PERFORMANCE
Mechanical resistance:
- Compressive strength: approx 30 N/mm2 (MPa)
- Bonding strength/ Flexural strength: approx 5 N/mm2 (MPa)
Temperature resistance:
- From - 40°C to +100°C
Chemical resistance:
(++ = very high resistance, + = medium resistance, 0 = no resistance)

- Note: These test results are from laboratory test. They might be slightly different from on-site results because of the differences in applications and conditions.
APPLICATION PROPERTY
- Pot life: 20 to 30 minutes
- Setting time: 8 hours
- Time before traffic: at least 24 hours
- Recommended joint-width: 2 to 10 mm
- Application temperature: +5°C to +35°C
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

- The joints should be clean and dry before grouting.
- Clean and remove any particles or contaminations remaining in the joints in order to ensure a good grout adhesion and the color uniformity.
- Avoid using the product in swimming pools when there is direct sunlight. It is recommended to have a shade to help reducing the heat.
GROUT PREPARATION
- Put clean water in a bucket (the water should be at room temperature, not warm or hot).
- Gradually add weber.color HR in the water and mix at the same time until homogeneous lump-free paste is obtained. The mixing proportion is;
- 1:5 by weight (water : grout) or
- 1:3.5 by volume (water : grout)
- Do not add any water than the mixing proportion. It will consequently make the mixture be more porous and not completely rigid.
- The mixture of weber.color HR should be used within 20-30 minutes and kept away from heat & sunlight.
- After proper mix, leave the product for 3 - 4 minutes before using in order to have the complete chemical reaction.
- The mixture of weber.color HR should be used within 20-30 minutes and kept away from heat & sunlight.
APPLICATION

- For wall: Use weber rubber trowel or an appropriate tool to fill tile joints diagonally.
- For floor: Apply the mixed grout onto the area of 1 m2, and then use the rubber trowel to diagonally fill the joints.
- Leave the area for 10 - 20 minutes and then wipe off the excess grout with a damp sponge.
- Clean tile surfaces with clean cloth after 1 hour.
- Wait for at least 7 days before filling water into the pools in order to ensure a good bonding of the grout, the resistance to pressure and chemical being used in the pool.
RECOMMENDATION FOR GROUTING
- Avoid using the grout on the substrates exposing to direct sunlight or having a shade during the application to help reducing the heat.
- To protect water leakage into underneath tiles and to avoid tile movement when there is foot traffic, the joint width should be at least 2 mm for wall and at least 3 mm for floor.
SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE
- One year after manufacturing date when stored unopened in dry and ventilated place (store airtight in dry and ventilated conditions, if remained in opened bag)
