SUBSTRATE

Not suitable to use in swimming pool (instead of use weber.color HR or weber.color poxy)
Not suitable if grout is required to be chemical- and acid-resistant; industry, hospital, food-storage area, for instantce (instead weber.color poxy should be used)

Principal components: White cement, Biocide, Water-repellent (Hydrophobic), Modyfy polymer, Silica sand, Special aggregate

Temperature resistance: -30°C to +70°C
Maximum tile weight for vertical application: 20 kg/m²
Bonding strength at dry stage: > 1 MPa (N/mm²)
Bonding strength in water immersion: > 1 MPa (N/mm²)
Note: These test results are from the laboratory test. They could be slightly different from the on-site results because of the differences in applications and conditions.

The substrate should be flat, hard, level, clean, and dry with normal absorption.
Clean the surfaces until free from dust, grease, or any stains.
If the surface is very absorbent, it is necessary to damp it before tiling.
In case of new screed or render, it should be fully cured for 7 days per 1 cm thickness of concrete before tiling.

Tiles should not be immersed in water because it will decrease bonding strength of the adhesive.
Ensure that tiles are dry, clean, free from grease, dust, or any other contaminations.

Put 1.1-1.2 liters of clean water in a bucket (the water should be at room temperature, not warm or hot).
Gradually add weber.color mosaic,
- by the weight ratio of 1 part water per 2.5 parts of adhesive
- (or 1:2.5 by volume) , in water and mix at the same time by using slow speed (500 rpm) electric mixer.
- When using traditional trowel, mix properly until homogeneous lump-free paste is obtained.
After proper mix, leave the product for 3 - 4 minutes before using in order to have the complete chemical reaction.
The mixture of weber.color mosaic should be used within 30 minutes and kept away from heat & sunlight

FIXING STEP:

Apply some adhesive on the wall, and then use a notched trowel to equally spread the adhesive horizontally on the area of 1 - 2 m².
- The depth of the notched trowel is to control the constancy and quantity of adhesive.
Lay mosaics on the adhesive and press firmly or knock gradually with rubber hammer in order to spread the notch of adhesive equally and ensure a good contact.
Carefully clean of any excess adhesive on the mosaics and joints with a damp sponge when the adhesive is still wet.
Any adjustments can be done within 15 minutes before weber.color mosaic sets.
Wait for 24 hours before grouting to let the adhesive dry.
- Weber grouting products are available in many ranges of color and applications depending on the joint width and working conditions.

GROUTING STEP:

For wall: Use weber rubber trowel or an appropriate tool to fill tile joints diagonally.
For floor: Apply the mixed grout onto the area of 1 m², and then use the rubber trowel to diagonally fill the joints.
Wipe off the excess grouts with damp sponge before the grout sets.
Clean mosaic surfaces with clean cloth after 2 hours.
Wait for 24 hours before traffic to ensure the good bonding of grout.

Avoid applying weber.color mosaic in lumps (as shown in the picture) at the mosaic back. This will create voids underneath the mosaic, which could lead to the tile fragility and water permeation

Avoid using weber.color mosaic on red-hot substrates or the substrates exposing to direct sunlight.

One year after manufacturing date when stored unopened in dry and ventilated place (store airtight in dry and ventilated conditions, if remained in opened bag)
