APPLICATION PROPERTY
- Pot life: 30 minutes
- Hardening time: 4 to 8 hours
- Optimum hardening and chemical-resistant time:
- 4 days at 20°C and
- 8 days at 10°C
- Time before traffic: 4 to 8 days
RECOMMENDATION FOR USE
- Application temperature: +10°C to +40°C
- Promptly clean off any excess of grout with warm-damp sponge before weber.color poxy sets
- Clean the tools right after using
- Wear protective gloves
- Avoid the contacts with skin and into eyes
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
- The joints should be clean and dry before grouting.
- Clean and remove any particles or contaminations remaining in the joints in order to ensure a good grout adhesion and the color uniformity.
GROUT PREPARATION
- Mix the 2 components together by the ratio of 1:3 (upper part: lower part). Stir the mixture until homogenious paste is obtained.
- After proper mix, leave the product for 3 to 4 minutes before using in order to have the complete chemical reaction.
- The mixture of weber.color poxy should be used within 30 minutes and kept away from heat & sunlight.
APPLICATION
- For wall: Use weber rubber trowel or an appropriate tool to fill tile joints diagonally.
- For floor: Apply the mixed grout onto the area of 1 m2, and then use the rubber trowel to diagonally fill the joints.
- After 15 to 20 minutes or after filling the joint on the area of 1 m2, wipe off any excess grout from tile surfaces with warm-damp abrasive sponge
- Clean off the excess grout again with warm-damp sponge to ensure there is no excess of weber.color poxy left on the surfaces.
- Wait for 4 - 8 hours to ensure the good bonding of grout.
- The optimum hardening time and the optimum time to resist chemical is 4 days at 20°C or 8 days at 10°C
RECOMMENDATION FOR GROUTING
- Avoid using the grout on red-hot substrates or the substrates exposing to direct sunlight.
- A shade is recommended to have when grouting in swimming pools in order to avoid direct sunlight.
- To protect water leakage into underneath tiles and to avoid tile movement when there is foot traffic, the joint width should be at least 2 mm for wall and at least 3 mm for floor.
- It is strongly recommended to clean off the areas before weber.color poxy sets.
SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE
- One year after manufacturing date when stored unopened in dry and ventilated place (store airtight in dry and ventilated conditions, if remained in opened bag)
